EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, five-minute repeater, dial and case with marking for Tiffany & Co, 33mm, 18K gold OF original Patek Philippe case with white enamel initials to rear, flush rear hinge, small Jürgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, lever escapement with counterpoise and capped escape wheel, strike train jeweled to hammers, marked as 29J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#138088 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 23.1 dwt (35.9 g). A beautiful example that is quite rare in this notably small size. Although this watch is of traditional pendant watch diameter, we have chosen to present it among the men's European watch portion of this catalog due to its primary interest being to collectors of repeating watches and collectors of Patek Philippe complications as opposed to collectors of pendant watches.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, bright lustrous plates with some typical scattered micro-fine scratches; flawless dial; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, cuvette with some perimeter scratches from slipped past openings, ding to band at 10 and few lesser nicks elsewhere to left side of band, pinpoint nick to bezel at 10:30, rear enamel detail is fully intact; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
